Our priorities and values
Our strategy, Ambition to Action, sets out our priorities tp 2026, and our values of ‘we care, we listen and we deliver’, guide everything that we do, all working to create ‘better lives, together’.
Our priorities
Our Ambition to Action strategy 2023-26 reflects the views of our colleagues, people who use our services, our communities and partners.
We have four strategic priorities of being the best place to work, delivering the best quality services, ensuring the best use of resources and being the best partner. See below for more details.
The strategy outlines what we’ll do to deliver the priorities, and the positive impacts that we expect to see for our communities.
Our context
We provide mental health, community health – including specialist dental
services – children’s public health and specialist learning disability services, across Bradford, Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven.
Our priorities reflect our current context and wider challenges, and ensure that we have sustainable services – all built on a strong foundation – to improve our services and meet the changing needs of our communities.
Our strategy supports the wider plans across Bradford and Craven, with strong partnership working that we call Act as One. It also aligns with the wider West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership plans.
Our values
Our Trust values of ‘we care, we listen and deliver’ run through everything that we do. They guide how we work together and how we develop and deliver our services.
We care – we act with respect and empathy, and always value difference.
We listen – we understand people’s views and respond to their individual needs.
We deliver – we develop and provide excellent services and support our partners to do the same.
