Recognising the fantastic work that colleagues do is important. It’s part of being the best place to work. Across our Trust, we do this monthly and in our bi-annual staff awards event.
You’re A Star awards
In alternate years, we highlight, honour and celebrate individuals across our organisation. They have been nominated by their colleagues for going the extra mile to make a real difference to others.
Inspired by our vision of connecting people to the best quality care, when and where they need, our ‘You’re a Star’ awards event recognises staff from all areas of our Trust.
The categories include teammate of the year; service user, carer and volunteer contribution; working together; team of the year and unsung hero.

Living our Values awards
Our Trust values of ‘we care, we listen and we deliver’ run through everything that we do to
create ‘better lives together’ and that starts with our staff.
Every month we celebrate the work of colleagues who are truly living our values. The three winners – one for each of the values – each receive a certificate and recognition from our Executive team.
Thanks a Bunch awards
Our monthly ‘thanks a bunch’ awards are for teams, individuals and services. They celebrate great work that often goes above and beyond, and the lucky winners receive a voucher in recognition of their work.
National and regional awards
Alongside Trust awards, we’re always really proud to recognise and share colleagues’ work that’s won national and regional awards.
