Our services
Making work, work – Individual Placement and Support Employment service (IPS)
About the service
We are a team of employment specialists who support individuals with enduring mental health needs to find and sustain, paid employment in real work settings.
Our employment specialists are part of the community mental health teams across Bradford, Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven. This includes community mental health teams and Early Intervention Teams. We work in partnership with health and social care professionals to support individuals to achieve their employment goals.
We currently hold the IPS Grow Quality Kitemark.
How to access
Accessing Our IPS Employment Support Service
Our Individual Placement and Support (IPS) service is available to clients within Community Mental Health teams and Early Intervention teams. If you are seeking paid employment and would like tailored support to achieve this goal, please speak to your mental health practitioner. This could be your care coordinator, doctor, or therapist. They can refer you directly to our IPS service.
We are committed to inclusivity and do not exclude anyone within these teams. If you are motivated to work towards paid employment and are able to meet with one of our employment specialists on a weekly basis in the community, you are eligible to request a referral.
For your convenience, self-referral forms are also available in the waiting areas of these teams. Simply fill in your name, contact number, and the name of your mental health practitioner. Once completed, we will liaise with your mental health practitioner to process your referral.
Looking Ahead to 2025
In 2025, we hope to expand our IPS services to work in partnership with Primary Care Networks (PCNs). This will enable us to support individuals with enduring mental health needs who are under the care of their GP practice. Although this service is not yet operational, we will provide updates on our website as more information becomes available.
For further inquiries, please contact us directly. We look forward to supporting you in achieving your employment goals.
