Resident doctors strike – 7-13 April

The British Medical Association (BMA) has announced industrial action by resident doctors from 7am, Tuesday 7 April, to 6.59am on Monday 13 April.

We are working hard to minimise the impact on our services.  Please come forward as normal for appointments.  We will continue you directly if this changes.

The focus nationally across the NHS is maintaining safe levels of life critical care, in particular urgent and emergency care.  Those who need care should come forward as normal, especially in emergency and life-saving cases.  People should visit 111 online or call 111 for help and advice but dial 999 if it is a serious life-threatening emergency.
