Golfers invited to tee-off for NHS charity

Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust’s Better Lives charity is inviting local people and organisations across Bradford, Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven to sign-up to its annual golf day on Friday 6 June.
Seasoned golfers and amateurs are invited to join the annual tournament at Shipley Golf Club. Tickets are £280 for a team of four and include a light breakfast on arrival, followed by 18 holes and finishing with a meal in the clubhouse. The winner will receive a trophy and vouchers to spend in the Shipley Club’s Golf Shop.
All the funds raised will support additional activities for patients and carers across its hospital and community services that go beyond its core NHS provision.
Catherine Jowitt, Head of Charity and Volunteering, said: “We are looking forward to our fourth golf tournament – it should be a fantastic day. We are really grateful to Shipley Golf Club who are kindly hosting the event and to our headline sponsor Whitaker and Leach for supporting us.”
Alongside the golf, there are also sponsorship opportunities at each hole. The Trust would like to thank MHA Architecture and The Yorkshire Clinic for also kindly sponsoring the day. People can email the Better Lives at betterlivescharity@bdct.nhs.uk to book a team or sponsor the event.
