Golfers of all experience levels are invited to join the annual fundraising tournament at Shipley Golf Club. Tickets are £295 for a team of four and include a light breakfast on arrival, followed by 18 holes and finishing with a meal in the clubhouse. The winning team will receive a trophy and be in with a chance of winning a five-night break at Isla Canela Golf Resort in Spain for two.

Funds raised from this annual event will support additional activities for patients and carers across the Trust’s hospital and community services that sit outside of its core NHS provision.

Claire Blamires, Community Fundraiser said: “A fantastic £13,000 was raised at our 2025 event to support patients across our Trust services thanks to those who joined us on the day. We’re really looking forward to our fifth annual event and making this event our biggest yet.

“This annual tournament wouldn’t be possible without the support of our hosts at Shipley Golf Club and our headline sponsor Whitaker and Leach.”

Alongside the golf on the day, there are sponsorship opportunities at each of the 18 holes for companies to highlight their businesses. The Better Lives Charity would like to thank MHA Architecture and The Yorkshire Clinic for also kindly sponsoring the event.
