Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust has welcomed two new non-executive directors (NEDs) to its Board.
The appointments of Alyson McGregor and Mark Rawcliffe enhance the existing skills of the Trust Board and governance of its mental health, community and children’s’ services across Bradford and Craven. It follows the retirement of NEDs Professor Gerry Armitage and Dr Zulfi Hussain.

Alyson McGregor MBE has considerable senior level experience in health, care and voluntary organisations, with nine years in Board roles, including former Bradford and Airedale Primary Care Trust.
Alyson is the national director and founder of Altogether Better, an NHS national network organisation that brings people and organisations together to address current key health and care challenges. Alyson, who has lived and worked in Bradford and Airedale for over 30 years, was voted one of the top 50 inspirational leaders in the NHS.
Mark Rawcliffe brings 21 years’ experience in financial services to the NED role. Currently head of digital transformation for Lloyds Banking Group, Mark has a strong background in digital innovation and commercial management in highly regulated environments.
Mark, who worked in Bradford in his early career and is now based in Wakefield where the Trust provides children’s services, is passionate about understanding and meeting the broad range of customer needs.

Carole Panteli, interim chair of Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust, said: “Both appointments follow a highly competitive external selection process led by our council of governors, and I am delighted to welcome both Alyson and Mark to the board. Our new non-executive directors bring extensive senior level experience across a range of areas and both share an absolute focus on delivering for the people that use our services. I look forward to working with them as they take on their new roles and I’d also like to thank both Zulfi and Gerry for their significant contributions whilst they have been with our Trust.”
Alyson McGregor and Mark Rawcliffe both started their three-year terms as NEDs in March.
