Who We Are
We are a leading provider of mental health, community health and specialist learning disability services.

We support people of all ages who live in the Bradford, Airedale and Craven areas. We also work with people from other areas when needed.
We have over 3000 staff working with us. They carry out a wide range of roles and work together to provide you with care and support. The kind of staff you might meet include:
- mental health nurses
- school nurses
- psychiatrists
- social workers
- healthcare support workers
- district nurses
- health visitors
- allied health professionals (this can mean job roles such as psychologists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists and podiatrists)
As a public organisation we are accountable to you. Our Board is responsible for setting our strategic direction and for making sure that we are always open, honest and clear in the way we work. Click here to find out more.
Every September we hold our Annual General Meeting. Staff, service users, carers and other local organisations can come along and find out about how we have performed during the year. Our Annual Report is presented and you can ask the Chief Executive, Chair or Executive Directors questions.
Our Annual General Meeting took place on 29 September 2011. Click here to see our latest Annual Report.
You can contact the Communications Team on 01274 363551 or communications@bdct.nhs.uk for further information.
In the future we want to become an NHS Foundation Trust. We believe this will help us to work in an even better way with you to deliver services that really meet your needs. Although we have a large and growing membership of local people we would like even more people to join us. Click here to find out more about how you can become a member.
