Description
We are the team that assesses Autism and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in children and young people.
We assess children and young people referred in before their 18th birthday. For Autism, we accept referrals for children over the age of 7. For ADHD, we would expect the child to be in a school environment to be accepted. Once you are on our waiting list, you will receive a check-in call from our team every six months and if you have any other queries in the meantime you can contact CAMHSneuroenquiries@bdct.nhs.uk.
We look at a wide range of information from multiple settings to see if someone meets the criteria for an Autism/ADHD diagnosis.
