Clinical Administration services

About the service

The Clinical Administration service takes incoming calls on behalf of clinical services. Where possible we will manage your call request directly. Alternatively, we will put you through to a clinician or send a message asking the clinical team to call you back. At Trust community and mental health receptions we meet, greet and signpost visitors. We also process written correspondence on behalf of clinical teams.

What to expect

When you call your clinical service, you will hear a recorded message prior to having the call answered by one of our team.

Call Recording

Redbox is a call recording facility that records and stores incoming and outgoing calls received and made by the First Response Service (FRS) and Single Point of Access (SPA).

The FRS is a crisis assessment team that carries out telephone triage and face to face assessments, part of the wider acute community services and the community mental health team.  The SPA is an administration call handling team, that processes telephone calls on behalf of Community Mental Health services and Community Adult Physical Health Nursing services.
