Airedale Centre for Mental Health

About the service
We care for anyone over 18 who needs inpatient care for their mental health. People who are admitted to our wards have complex and acute mental health needs and may come in voluntarily or detained under the mental health act.
At Airedale Centre for Mental Health we have three wards
- Bracken ward – our ward caring for anyone over 65 experiencing acute mental health issues.
- Heather ward – our ward caring for females aged 18-65 experiencing acute mental health issues.
- Fern ward – our ward caring for males aged 18-65 experiencing acute mental health issues. (Please note Fern ward is currently located at Lynfield Mount Hospital.)

Our wards accept referrals from GP’s, Community Mental Health services, and emergency admissions via A&E.
