  • UNICEF (United Nations Children’s Fund) Baby Friendly Initiative – our health visiting service received international recognition for its work to increase breastfeeding rates and improve care for mums across the district.
  • Positive Practice Mental Health Awards – our physical health and wellbeing clinics in the community were highly commended in the ‘integrating physical and mental healthcare category at the Positive Practice Mental Health Awards; and our mental health services have been cited as best practice nationally for its work to reduce out of area placements so that everyone who needs inpatient care is cared to close to home.
  • Healthcare People Management Association – for the Trust’s unique engaging leaders programme that supports our leaders at all levels to develop skills, knowledge and confidence to lead their work, teams, and deliver high quality care services.
  • Dementia Services Development Centre National Gold Awards – for our state-of-the-art dementia assessment unit (DAU) at Lynfield Mount Hospital. The facility achieved the highest accolafe from the leading Dementia Services Development Centre (DSDC) at Stirling University, for its high-quality dementia friendly design that has been created with input from local carers, families and staff.
