Heather Ward – Airedale Centre for Mental Health
Description
On Heather Ward we care for females aged 18 – 65 experiencing acute mental health difficulties.
Our specialised multi-disciplinary team including consultants, registered mental health nurses, healthcare support workers and occupational therapists will support you to develop a person centred care plan.
Some of the therapy you might be offered includes solution focused therapy, goal setting and exposure therapy.
We are on the same site as Fern Ward (male acute ward) and Bracken Ward (older people’s acute ward). The three wards share some facilities including dining areas, the gym and activities room.
From 1 July 2015 all our in-patient sites have been smoke free facilities.
