COVID-19

In the light of the recent Government announcements, we have taken the decision to suspend visiting times across all our wards at the Airedale Centre for Mental Health with immediate effect. This is to help us to continue to protect our service users, our staff and our wider communities and to limit the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus.

Description

On Fern Ward at Airedale Centre for Mental Health we care for males aged 18 – 65 experiencing acute mental health difficulties.

Our specialised multi-disciplinary team including consultants, registered mental health nurses, healthcare support workers and occupational therapists will support you develop a person centred care plan.

Some of the therapy you might be offered on Fern ward includes solution focused therapy, goal setting and exposure therapy.

We are on the same site as Heather ward (female acute ward) and Bracken ward (older people’s acute ward).  The three wards share some facilities including dining areas, the gym and activities room.

From 1 July 2015 all our in-patient sites became smoke free facilities.
