To protect the safety of our patients and staff during the COVID-19 outbreak, all routine, face to face dentistry has been suspended nationally. If you have an appointment over the next few weeks, this will have been cancelled, so please do not attend the dental department. Your appointment will be rebooked by us when it is safe to do so. If you are experiencing severe dental pain and you are currently a patient of the Community Dental Service please contact us on 01274 259253 between 9am and 4.30pm, we are open 7 days a week. If you do not have a dentist that you visit regularly and you are experiencing severe pain, please contact NHS 111.
We offer a range of specialised dental health services for patients who are referred to our service by healthcare professionals.
The dental services we provide are:
- Community dental care – this service supports people who have needs that cannot be met by a high street dentist. For example people who are housebound, have anxiety or severe physical disabilities, we will support their dental health needs within the local community.
- Oral health improvement – we have a dedicated oral health improvement team committed to improving the oral health of our local communities.
