In the light of the recent Government announcements, visits to Lynfield Mount Hospital will be considered on a case-by-case basis with immediate effect. This is to help us to continue to protect our service users, our staff and our wider communities and to limit the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus.
Clover Ward is a psychiatric intensive care unit for adults over 18 detained under the mental health act based at Lynfield Mount Hospital. Clover Ward offers you a safe environment to receive the necessary nursing support and treatment you require.
The team on this ward will support you with an individualised recovery based care and support plan. You will have access to regular one-to-one sessions with members of our multidisciplinary team which includes consultant psychiatrists, registered mental health nurses, healthcare support workers and psychologists.

Visiting times at Clover Ward
Please note all visits must be booked in advance on the ward.
Monday to Friday, 3.00pm – 5.00pm and 6.00pm – 8.00pm
Saturdays and Sundays, 11.00pm – 5.00pm and 6.00pm – 8.00pm
We politely ask visitors not to visit you during mealtimes 5.00pm – 6.00pm). Children are welcome to visit you, however this must be agreed with ward staff in advance.

We welcome referrals from mental health care providers (including in-patient units, bed managers, crisis / home treatment teams, approved mental health professionals) and commissioners.
If you wish to make a referral please telephone a member of our clinical team to discuss your needs.
We will aim to respond to your request within one hour following consideration by our clinical team.
