Our safeguarding children and adults team is involved in making complex decisions to try and make sure the people we come into contact with are effectively safeguarded. We work on systems, processes, procedures and training to support our staff in safeguarding the health and welfare of children and adults in their care, with an important focus on protecting them from harm.
We promote with staff their wider responsibility to the people we serve and the statement: ‘Safeguarding is everyone’s business’. Our aim is for staff to feel competent and confident to deal with safeguarding concerns. We work in partnership with service users, their families and other organisations.
If you’re worried that you, or a child or adult you know, is being abused we can help.
