I have lived and worked in Bradford East for many years. I work in a primary school in Bradford East as a Forest Schools and Therapeutic Outdoor Skills Practitioner.
Working in a diverse, socially and economically deprived area, I have seen the detrimental impact this can have on health and wellbeing. The impact of the pandemic on such areas has further exacerbated the issues associated with this. I have recently become a carer for my father and have friends and family members who have sought support for their mental health and wellbeing.
Access to personalised, quality health and care provision is vital to the wellbeing of the members of our community.
