Our learning disability services provide a range of health support for adults with learning disabilities across Bradford and Airedale. We have three main service areas: the learning disabilities health support team and our specialist clinics and our assessment and treatment unit at Lynfield Mount.
We are a service helping the infant from the very beginning to form close relationships, manage and express emotions, and explore the environment and learn. Healthy first relationships are vital for a baby’s future wellbeing and development.
Our looked after children’s health team work closely with social care services to look after the health needs of all Bradford children and young people aged 0-21 who are looked after. This may be with a foster carer, a residential home, or living with family and friends under the care of a social worker
