Mike Smith, ChiarmanBradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust is hosting its Annual Members Meeting (AMM) on Tuesday 27 September 2016.

The Trust provides award winning community health, mental health and specialist learning disability services for people across Bradford, Airedale and Craven.

At the meeting, people can hear about the Trust’s achievements over the past 12 months, its plans for the future and put questions to members of the Board, who make decisions at the Trust.

This year the Board is inviting members of the public to help develop local services for the coming year, through discussions in the evening about: how we can deliver our services differently so that these better meet your needs; how we can deliver high quality services more cost effectively; and how people would like to be involved in developing these in future.

Michael Smith, Chairman, said: “Through the range of services we provide we can support people’s physical and mental health needs.  We would like you to be involved in shaping the future of those services and contribute to our plans for the year ahead. We’re always looking for opportunities to improve our services and would like to hear your ideas.”

There will also be an opportunity to share your views about the Care Trust with the Trust’s Governors, elected by local people to represent Bradford East, Bradford South, Bradford West, Shipley, Craven and Keighley areas. One of the roles of governors is to represent local views about services the Trust provides at the highest level of the organisations.

The AMM will take place at City Training Services, 39/41 Chapel Street,  Bradford, BD1 5BY. Registration is from 4.30pm. Governor drop in sessions are 5-5.30pm and the AMM will start at 5.45pm. People can book a place and submit a question in advance to ft@bdct.nhs.uk or by calling 01274 228381.
