In celebration of the NHS 75th birthday, Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust’s charity, Better Lives, is inviting local people and companies from Bradford, Wharfedale, Airedale and Craven to sign up to their annual charity golf day. The event on Friday 7 July is once again proudly sponsored by The Yorkshire Clinic.
The day, held at Shipley Golf Club, will include a breakfast sandwich and a hot drink 18 holes of golf, with complimentary refreshments at the halfway house and a meal in the clubhouse for each golfer. The format for the day will be four-person teams, two from four Stableford with tee off times between 9am-1.30pm. The price per team is £220 and all funds raised will be used to improve the physical and mental wellbeing of our patients, service users and carers.
The winning team captain from last year, Jas Athwal, said: “It is a fabulous event, on a great golf course, and a wonderful opportunity to raise vital funds for our local NHS mental health charity. The NHS celebrates its 75th birthday this July, what a fantastic way to support and celebrate the amazing occasion by getting involved, bringing a team along and playing a round of golf.”
