General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)

GDPR is a set of rules that means information like about you like your name, address and how you are feeling must be kept safe and secure.
This is the law and it is there to protect you and your information. You have more power and control over how your information can be used.

 

It only lets people share or use your information if you say its ok. Sometimes they may have to share your information to keep you safe or stop a crime.

 

You can ask to see any information that is recorded about you for free.
There are big fines for organisations if they get it wrong.
