Plan for Eliminating Mixed Sex Accommodation

 

We are fully committed to ensuring all our service users continue to be cared for within a strong framework for gender services. All service users who are cared for in our hospital wards can expect to receive care that is gender sensitive to men, women and those of the third gender.

We welcome the Department of Health standards for the elimination of mixed sex environment to build on our progress in the provision of gender sensitive services (DoH Into the Mainstream) and our work on Privacy and dignity for all services users.
