Patient Advice and Liaison Service

 

Bradford District Care Trust has Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) officers working within all service areas. The PALS officers are available if you need on the spot advice, support or help. They will help YOU, your family or your carer with any issues or concerns you have about the service we provide. Contact the PALS officers on 01274 408600.

Within Bradford and Airedale, there is a strong network of PALS Officers at each of the Trusts and all liaise with each other when appropriate, therefore offering a seamless service for NHS patients and relatives/carers.

The general principle of PALS is to offer a "one stop shop" so whichever PAL you speak to, they will then do the chasing round, so you don’t have to be given several numbers to ring.

PALS have an open referral system where either the individual can self refer or a staff member can make the initial call if that is preferred.
