We work with other organisations to keep people safe. This involves preventing abuse and acting quickly if abuse is happening.
How we safeguard people:
- By listening to service users and their families, encouraging them to speak out
- By making sure staff treat people well, most importantly with dignity and respect
- By making sure other people do the same
- By having a zero tolerance of abuse – making sure any concern about abuse is reported promptly and action taken
- By helping people to gain control of their lives, make choices and become more independent
- By providing good quality services where staff work together to provide the care that people need
