Our Community Services

If you require support to overcome mental health problems but do not need to be in an in-patient environment, our community services are available to meet your needs.

Our teams consist of mental health nurses, social workers, doctors, support workers, occupational therapists and other professionals. These multi-disciplinary teams work effectively together to make sure you receive the care to suit you.

Early Intervention in Psychosis

This specialist community service provides support to young people and families experiencing psychosis for the first time.

We provide a range of services including psychological therapies and social interventions designed to meet your needs as a young person, and help recovery at an important stage of your life.

Early intervention reduces the length of time that psychosis is untreated and provides you with a recovery focused service in the three years following your first episode.

Outside these hours, support is provided by our Intensive Home Treatment Team.

Primary Care Mental Health

This service responds to the needs of people experiencing common mental health problems including: anxiety, panic disorder, phobias and depression.

If you require use of this service we work in partnership with existing primary care teams to deliver therapy and support from a specialised team. We deliver this service in GP practices or locations close to your home.

Referrals:
The majority of referrals come from GP’s, however where necessary, you can be referred through alternative routes. Please contact the service if you require any further information.
