Getting Involved

If you use our Adult Mental Health Services, there are a number of groups that you may wish to join:

Craven Carer’s Voice

If you care for someone who uses services at the Craven Centre and/or the Airedale Centre for Mental Health, you might be interested in this mental health support group.

Those who attend the group offer support to each other during the meetings and share experiences to help other carers. There will also be guest speakers attending the meetings, details of which can be found by clicking here.

The meetings are held on the third Monday of every month, with coffee and a chat from 10.30am – 11.00am. The meeting then takes place 11.00am – 1.00pm.

Craven Friday Group

If you are a service user in Craven, this group might interest you. Made up of service users past and present, the group meetings are welcoming social events with guest speakers from a variety of backgrounds.

The second part of the meeting focuses on business, where information about our Trust is passed on to you, your feedback is sought and matters of concern are discussed. The group enjoys discussing and contributing to our Trust’s and North Yorkshire County Council’s mental health developments.

The group meets on the second Friday of every month, 1.30pm – 3.30pm at the Quaker Meeting House in Skipton.

By attending the group you will have the opportunity to meet new people, socialise, discuss your experiences and feedback to the Trust.
